The Boyd Institute's mission is to advance asymmetric solutions to global issues. We are a non-profit research institute founded in March 2023.

I have a consulting and coaching practice focusing on: (1) Helping large organizations reinvent themselves - their strategy, governance, and execution; (2) Helping entrepreneurial companies focus and accelerate; and (3) coaching entrepreneurs and executives to greater effectiveness and fulfillment. Clients span three continents. I'm a contributor to Harvard Business Review and Entrepreneur.

Three Ships is a family of digital businesses. The company is led by CEO Zach Clayton.

BestVendor was a technology venture that helped executives find the best tools and apps for work, using social recommendations. I led the company from inception through the sale of the business. Raised $3.6m in seed and Series A financing from top VCs including SoftBank, RRE, SV Angel, and Lerer Ventures. Sold to DocStoc, now owned by Intuit.

Executed special projects for the public affairs office of this $50b+ energy company, spearheaded the launch of the company's first website, and helped develop a "venture philanthropy" strategy for the company's foundations.
