Cycling continues to grow in popularity, especially as e-bikes proliferate, baby boomers seek to remain active, and more people commute to work, but cyclists also suffer far too many injuries and even death because inattentive drivers don’t see them. Being struck from behind is the leading fear of cyclists, and it prevents many people from cycling more frequently, or even from cycling at all. The solution is Cyclesight. Its rear-view camera and wireless handlebar-mounted display lets cyclists see rear-approaching vehicles, giving them time to react and to take evasive action to avoid dangerous situations. Our engineering is complete, and we sold 50 beta units through a social media ad campaign.
