Hello! I have over 20 years of experience working in software development and information security, primarily in the financial services industry. In 2019 obtained a Master of Science in Cyber Security from the University of San Diego. My technical skills include software development, cybersecurity, networking, firewalls, database administration, and most importantly problem-solving. In my career thus far, I have been blessed to work in a rapidly changing industry which has afforded me many opportunities for solving complex problems. It’s my favorite part of the job. I also get to engage with our customers and other engineers delivering technical presentations explaining our services in both a pre-sales and post-sales role. Supporting the sales team and getting an opportunity to teach bring a lot of enjoyment to me. I love reading books on leadership and thinking about how to be a better team leader. Other topics of interest to me are personal finance, HAM Radio (K6ZMR), apologetics, backpacking, red/blue teaming, and OSINT. Most of software development experience has been in the following programming languages: Java, C#, PHP, JavaScript, Python, SQL, and Transact SQL.
