Farm management - I looked after the day to day operations of my family farm for 5 years (1998 - 2003). (worked on the farm from 1984 - 2003) Making sure the right people were performing the proper task with the right equipment for a successful growing season. During the off season I made sure the equipment was repaired or if needed replace to get ready for the next season. I have operator skills on small, medium, and large equipment. Plus I can operate hydraulic equipment and understand how to use P.T.O. attachments. I have mechanical skills and can operate power tools, air tools, cutting torches, and welders.I've periodically attended different colleges during the off season and slower periods on the farm. Central Michigan University, Northwood University, and Michigan State University. I've studied Turf Management, Business Management, Electrical Engineering, and Chemistry. After the family no longer farmed I attended DeVry University where I studied Game Simulation Programming and Project Management during the winter while in summer I'm a sales representative for an organic fertilizer company, TerReplenish, I travel to golf courses, orchards, vegetable garden, landscapers, ect.... Also through DeVry I've done projects simulating working in a game company. I have experience working in groups on projects. Communicating with individuals to finish the pieces of a project in the right order and on time. I've designed a game on paper from start to finish. Creating the plot, environment, characters and items. I've worked with 3D software, video and audio editing software. Also, I have high level computer skills.Specialties: I'm a true people person with the ability to understand and be empathetic with people. I can figure out quickly what different skills that each person brings to the group and how to put those skills to work get the job done fast and efficiently. Growing up on a farm has taught me to think outside the box, to be very flexible when problems arise such as breakdowns order delays and weather changes. I utilize my resources to there maximum potential. I'm great with logic, numbers, math, and science.
