Jeff believes in making things better. We can all relate to companies, projects and initiatives that make life better for people, for customers and for animals. We have been involved, or have aspirations to, be involved in these communities that bring us together. When a company is formed for the ‘right’ reasons, connecting an audience to its purpose in the right way, you have a chance to change their world for the better.And while the idea of making things better sounds - and is - great, Jeff knows it is easier said than done. He’s put together companies and people that haven’t gotten off the ground. We are all being challenged to do more with less. The pressure to perform becomes greater. We are given higher expectations to meet, larger targets to hit. More of our time to give. And it’s these pressures that become the problem. They start to stand in our way of making things better. Sometimes we need help along the way. Jeff grew up in a rural community made of strong, independent people. His family and neighbours were proud of their heritage and their profession; representing 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation farmers from diverse backgrounds. What bound them together was their dream of a better lives for themselves, their family and the communities they built up around them. The way these communities came together influenced Jeff. He grew up witnessing farmers form Ag societies and build a hockey with their own hands. Form a rural Theatre group company then become writers, designers, directors and actors. Jeff saw co-operative companies negotiated and incorporated. The common denominator always being seeing what was needed, organizing the structure and making things better.
