My responsibilities included tax parcel mapping of Oregon Counties to Oregon Department of Revenue Standards using surveys, deeds, aerial photos, and Oregon Department of Revenue maps. As control I used Bureau of Land Management Survey Plats, Field Notes, Geographic Coordinate Data Base (GCDB), National Geodetic Survey points and GPS. Further, I worked as lead technician for phase I of IDS’s contract to Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) to develop a routable transportation network for oversized loads. This included creating and validating a new Linear Referenced System (LRS) created from a spatial union of ODOT’s highway LRS and the LRS for Oregon’s federally recognized functional class roads. Next, I created views in SQL 2005 of ODOT Motor Carrier restriction data stored in a DB2 database. The views were then dynamically segmented to the new LRS then selected attributes were aggregated to the segment.
