About Jeff Gruending
After graduating from the College of New Caledonia in Prince George, in 1999, with a diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology, I immediately began working for GLC Controls Inc. in 2000 in the Research and Development department, eventually becoming lead designer of the IBIS project. In 2003 I decided to make a career change and moved south to Quesnel to work for a Radio Communications company, Bear Communications & Electronics. In 2003 I started a consulting business, Precision FX. Today, Precision FX specializes primarily in Software Development in C# and Visual Basic, and Database Development using SQL Server and MySQL tailored to industrial and commercial clients. Major software development projects are are currently installed and in use in sawmill and planer mills across Canada and the US for clients such as Canfor, West Fraser, Weyerhaeuser and Western Forest Products. Specialties:C#, VB, WPF, .NET software development.SQL Server and MySQL database development.Interfacing software with PLC systems such as Allen-Bradley's line of ControlLigix PLC's.Data collection, analysis and reporting.
