With a vision to tackle one of the most significant information technology challenges within the healthcare industry, I founded Meddius. Our goal was to develop a reliable, secure, and cost-efficient platform for seamless information sharing, thereby improving patient care by making healthcare information universally accessible.Our innovative approach led to the introduction of Integration as a Service (IaaS), a transformative delivery model that revolutionized the way information was shared within the healthcare sector. Within a few years, we successfully deployed our technology across hundreds of hospitals nationwide, resulting in the establishment of the most expansive distributed clinical integration network in the US healthcare industry. Our unique value proposition and impactful results caught the attention of Premier, Inc. (NASDAQ: PINC), leading to a successful acquisition in October 2013.

As the founder and driving force behind a progressive technology organization, I honed my expertise in designing, developing, and managing intricate software systems. In 2006, our organization, Intalgent, successfully spun off Meddius - a dedicated initiative to address and overcome the prevalent integration challenges within the healthcare sector.

In the foundational stage of VOCEL, I held the pivotal role of spearheading the development of our key offerings, most notably the PillPhone®. This innovative medication adherence application revolutionized the way healthcare payors, providers, and other entities could interact and engage with patients. PillPhone® delivered interactive medication reminders and facilitated seamless information exchange, thus enhancing patient-care coordination and adherence.PillPhone® was the first mobile disease management application to earn FDA clearance, and it was made available on all tier-one United States mobile operators, establishing new standards in mobile health technology.In a significant milestone for the company, VOCEL's rich intellectual property portfolio was acquired by ImageWare Systems (OTCQB: IWSY) in 2012, a testament to the transformative solutions we developed during my tenure.

As an appointee of the Chief Information Officer, I held the significant responsibility of assembling and leading a novel team dedicated to the rapid deployment of Internet and Groupware technology across our comprehensive organization. This initiative was characterized by a focus on delivering centralized, network-wide software solutions, encompassing a broad spectrum of requirements including messaging, workflow, document, content, and data management.Among our numerous achievements, the standout was undoubtedly the design, development, and deployment of ClinicalXpress. This pioneering tool represented the region's first Internet-based clinical repository for patient data, marking a significant leap forward in our technological capabilities and setting a new benchmark for healthcare data management in our region. This accomplishment underscored our team's commitment to innovation and our ability to transform complex challenges into effective, user-friendly solutions.
