JOB SUMMARY:Provides overall direction of Information system needs and processes for the hospital and it’s users. Acts as primary support liaison for all automated system needs to ensure efficient system operations. Designs, develops, maintains and enhances automated systems. Performs analytical and programming functions for all modules of the HIS and other vendor systems. This includes dictionary management and development, software testing, problem resolution, project and vendor management. Coordinates training, staff development and training needs assessments. POSITION DIMENSIONS:Staff Directly Reporting: Network/PC Analyst, MIS Support Specialist and General Clerk. Responsible for Department Budget.
