I've believed for a long time that sales doesn't have to be a bad word. When things are right, the role of anyone in sales is simply to help someone get to a better place. I was fortunate enough to have a great mentor in my first job out of college who helped me discover this approach, and I've embraced it ever since.Along the way, I also helped run 2 small companies myself. Those experiences helped me better appreciate just how complicated (and risky) having a team of employees can be. Dealing with things like onboarding new hires, handling payroll and taxes, administering benefits, providing retirement plan options, being aware of and following the ever-changing rules our government officials so thoughtfully keep rolling out, dealing with multiple vendors when things don't work as they should, etc. is a lot for any owner or leader. Just as importantly, when you do these things really well, they don't tend to move the needle. But, if you miss something, it can really create problems. Working with HCC gives you a single-source partner to handle all these various compliance and administrative HR tasks tied to being an employer. We do all the heavy lifting, which allows you and your team to focus on delivering your products/services to your customers. Working with us also puts a significant firewall between you and the risk associated with these endeavors. Long story short, you can rely on us to really simplify being an employer.When I'm not working, I love to golf (even though my game doesn't reflect it!), walk, rock out to 80's music, and enjoy time with my family.
