About Jeffrey Hecht

A dynamic 25+ year career in sales and marketing. Starting with a career in Telecommunications equipment sales including the first Voice Mail systems, I moved to the other side of the desk into the operations side of the business working my way up to VP and CTO. Having had responsibility for facilities, operations, network deployment and more. When the Telecommunications industry imploded I decided it was time to re-invent myself. I moved into sales in the Energy Efficiency Arena. For 10 years I returned to my sales roots, but never gave up that part of me that is a consultant. Using a consultative sales approach with prospects and clients I am able to develop a relationship based on trust. Becoming disenchanted with the Energy Efficiency Market, I decided to take a break from selling for others and sell my skills as a web designer. I was building websites for 12 years as a side business, but really developed a passion for it. I love this work and helping companies to develop a presence on the web. Responsibilities included the creation and management of a team of over 30 employees including those in network provisioning, traffic engineering, switch operations, switch maintenance, and in‐house voice and data services.Responsible for the project budgeting of each site build out and for special projects. Managed site selection and build out of those sites. Responsible for the management of switch sites in throughout the US including structural, electrical, disaster recovery considerations, transmission equipment layout, generator and battery backup, security access systems, local loop OC‐48 connectivity, co‐location for CLEC facilities.
