Jeff Hermanson got his start in real estate in Crested Butte, Colorado before expanding his portfolio to the Denver metro area. Jeff has owned and served as a steward of Denver’s most iconic and historic block, Larimer Square, for a quarter century. In that time, he transformed the block into one of the most recognized collections of independent boutiques and chef-driven restaurants in Colorado. As a result, Larimer Square consistently ranks among Denver’s top destinations for both visitors and locals alike. His passion and purpose as a placemaker and an entrepreneur forged his role as a partner and advisor to a number of Denver’s most notable chefs and restauranteurs to create some of the city’s most acclaimed restaurants, including Rioja, Euclid Hall, Bistro Vendome, Corridor 44, Bubu and TAG. Jeff also served a principal partner in the award-winning restoration of Denver’s Union Station. Jeff continues to actively participate in the future visioning of Denver by embracing density and greater mobility in the urban core, and through championing urban agriculture and food system reform. His commitment to increasing hunger awareness and land conservation led him to co-found the Good Food 100, serve on the Board of Directors of We Don’t Waste and as the President of the Crested Butte Land Trust.In 2015, Jeff was inducted into The Denver & Colorado Travel Industry Hall of Fame in recognition for his efforts to re-energize Denver’s retail, restaurant and entertainment scene on Larimer Square.
