The NASH Program Director is the key point person for coordinating and growing GLI’s NASH initiatives in collaboration with the Policy Director, Communications Director, and European Office. As NASH Director, Jeff:• Grew the NAFLD/NASH multi-stakeholder group NASH Council from 30 to 80+ members.• Led the creation of patient, industry, and policymaker materials such as The Langauge of NASH, the U.S. NASH Action Plan and yearly Scorecard, and multiple educational materials such as NAFLD/NASH: Am I at Risk? and NAFLD/NASH: Have You Been Diagnosed?• Served as a patient representative on numerous industry patient advisory boards for clinical trials, protocol reviews, and liver education campaigns while also fulfilling responsibilities as a member of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases’s Practice Guidelines Committee.• Directed and executed the multi-stakeholder global event, International NASH Day.
