Meet the traveling international musician who is now living the dream right at home. Jeff Jones spent much of his early years with a drumstick in his hand. From rehearsals to marching bands, Jeff spent many a day behind his drums. Eventually Jeff’s drumming skills would land him a job with Big Daddy Weave, one of Christian music’s premier bands.For Jeff, making a living as a professional musician was a dream of sorts. The thrill of playing before packed out arenas is hard to explain for anyone who has never done it. It is energizing and life-giving and just plain old fun. And for Jeff, this was his reality 150 nights a year. But at the height of the band’s success – with booming record sales, a seventh studio recording, and a #1 radio hit – Jeff walked away to pursue a new dream. For Jeff, it was a much bigger dream. Jeff’s bigger dream was to be a successful entrepreneur in his hometown of Mobile, Alabama, and to do so while spending lots of time with his wife and daughters.After retiring from his life of music, Jeff turned his attention to a drumstick business that he had started while traveling in the band. He also ventured into more and more public speaking. Jeff found immediate success with both efforts, but there was an itch that would not go away. Jeff had always wanted to do real estate. He had dreamed about it, even back in his old drumming days. But it was only a dream. For now, Jeff needed to stay busy with speaking engagements and drumstick selling. However, after attending a two-day mastermind group in Las Vegas for individuals wanting to sharpen their vocational focus, Jeff made a decision: He would obtain his real estate license and chase his dream.Today, Jeff Jones enjoys the life that he once dreamed of. In less than two years as a licensed realtor, Jeff already has become one of the top real estate agents in Alabama’s Gulf Coast region. He has been recognized multiple times as Keller Williams Mobile’s top monthly producer in 2021, and finished out the year as their top annual producer. Sitting behind a drumkit, Jeff Jones used to dream about a life of family, real estate and success back home.
