A non – profit organization, which runs a baseball league for children with special needsFor the past 17 years I have volunteered my time and talents to bring a concept to reality in the formation of The Miracle League of Palm Beach County in an effort to give something back to the community · Established a south Florida league which serves all Palm Beach county· Worked with city and county officials on land grants and park construction· Worked with city Attorneys on sponsorship and field usage contracts· Raised over $1.5 million for the construction of our specialized fields and playgrounds.· Created, organized and run a two season league, now at to locations, with over 150 players, including player registration, uniforms, trophies, schedules, and equipment.· Organized and supervise over 125 volunteers, including coaches, buddies, concession and special event coordinationNot only has this project giving me a great deal of personal satisfaction but it has also increased my sales and relationship building skills by dealing with a corporate professional on a different level. I also learned new motivation techniques by working with volunteers instead of employees.
