Jeff Kaney is the Founder and CEO of Kaney Aerospace, an AS9100 certified engineering, manufacturing, and technology company dedicated to the future of Aviation & Aerospace Mobility at every level. In this role, Jeff focuses on pushing both the business and industry to innovate to meet the needs of tomorrow, today. Jeff “leads from behind,” which means he crafts the vision for the company, then creates the alignment needed to turn even the most ambitious of goals into a reality, while always holding onto an adventurous and entrepreneurial spirit. Previously, Jeff was both a USAF combat pilot for 10 years, achieving the rank of Captain, as well as a commercial pilot, so he knows what it’s like to take risks and build the life you imagine. It’s this same mindset that he instills in his teams on a daily basis, as the company continues to push boundaries and expand its presence across every corner of the industry. Working with multinational organizations like Abbott, Boeing, GE Aviation, Gulfstream, Honeywell, Stryker, USAF, and more, Jeff knows how to build and cultivate lifelong relationships at every altitude. He also serves as the Chairman of the Swedish American Hospital Board of Trustees, on the Swedish American Health System Board of Directions, on the State of Illinois Department of Economic Commerce, and as a judge for the US Selective Service.
