About Jeff Knapp

I am helping to lead the transformation of how KDP interacts with its people technologies and setting new expectations for how technology elevates KDP HR’s work.I build HR technology dream teams. My teams deliver big, play well with others, work in principled manners across platforms because a worker’s experience rarely begins and ends in one system. I’m always looking for people who have a passion to surmount lofty goals, have fun while doing so, and teach HR that there’s a better way through technology.I straddle the line between HR and IT and am passionate about evolving how HR works through effective use of ways of workinto, technology application and process improvement. I know just enough about HR and IT to be able to hold both sides accountable for delivery of quality solutions. I want my users to be delighted with their technology (it's simple and efficient to use, which helps them focus on more valuable work). I believe it's a disservice to make non-HR users use clunky HR systems to complete transactions or look for information. I believe HR-users should be empowered to quickly build applications that not only improve automation (by eliminating manual processes), but also that tie smartly to larger processes that their process ties into both at the data and process level.Cloud technology is our present and future, which enables HR to deliver enterprise-quality applications quickly and efficiently with minimal technology know-how. I am a firm believer in getting solutions in front of customers as quickly as possible, and allowing stakeholders to play a very visible role in kaizen of the solution (continuous improvement via Agile/Scrum methodology). I also acknowledge there is a role that Waterfall delivery plays in setting the HR business up for success
