Lead developer on an ASP.NET web application that involved converting a system based on MS Access and SQL Server to an ASP.NET/SQL Server web application written in a mixture of C# and VB.NET using a SQL Server 2000 database. The web application made possible the nightly data entry of financial data for numerous hotel properties. A variety of reports were then made available to the client’s customers from the data accumulated. Developed the presentation layer using ASP.NET web forms using C#. The presentation layer incorporated various user interface controls such as HTML controls, ASP.NET server side controls, datagrids, repeaters, and user controls.Developed and used Javascript functions to give a web application the look and feel of a desktop application. Developed data layer using ADO.NET and C#. Wrote and implemented stored procedures and user defined functions (UDFs) in SQL Server 2000 which were called by the data layer of the application.

Provided software maintenance and database support for the FASTest product. The FASTest Automation System was a flexible, scalable testing tool designed to test signaling and call processing over C7/SS7 links, ISDN links, and PTS circuits. The FASTest product tested and verified Class 4, Class 5, and Gateway switching systems using a host controller and a telephony device that connected to Signaling Transfer Points (STPs) and Systems Under Test (SUTs). It supported the creation, automatic execution, validation, and test report generation of a wide range of telephony signaling and call processing test cases.The FASTest Automation System was written in C++ and supported on two platforms -- Windows NT and Solaris. As such there were also two databases involved -- Oracle on Solaris and MS Access on NT.

C++ for the background servers and external interfaces, and Java for the front end GUI. Maintained and enhanced tools to improve overall performance of the Billing Interface. Member of a task force to locate lost revenue for "unbillable" traffic.The billing records generated by Frame Relay switches are analyzed and compared to customer information records to resolve PVC (Permanent Virtual Circuit) irregularities which result in a non-billable situation. Product View -- this system was existed across two platforms - MVS and OS/2. The MVS, or mainframe, portion of the system was the Order Entry portion and the provisioning actions took place on an OS/2 platform. Responsible for maintenance and enhancement of the Billing Interface written in C on OS/2.
