With 40+ years Automotive Industry experience I have been involved with all facets of dealership operations. As a G.M. for well over a decade I am well versed in variable and fixed operations and have taken active rolls in both. My greatest satisfaction was in taking a rural, outlaying store from just over 400 retail units new and used annually to nearly 1300 in just over 1 year. Attaining service absorption of over 115% in the same time frame while achieving #2 in the country in customer satisfaction and #2 nationally in percentage of sales objective attained.With the influx of technologies into the industry over the past 15 I have been charged with implementing and developing processes for BDC, Sales and Service operations. Working with CRM products from ADP, Autobase and VIN Solutions I have developed and implemented processes for showroom and Internet lead follow up, incoming sales, service and parts calls, sales and service campaigns, owner follow up, customer satisfaction, relationship and database management. I have working relationships with ADP, Dealer.com. Cobalt, Clickmotive, VIN Solutions and a myriad of other online automotive vendors. Current projects also include online reputation management, social media marketing and SEO. Working with websites such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Yelp, Bing, Google and DealerRater to improve web presence and reputation.While not MCSE certified I have a working understanding of WAN, LAN networking, Cisco switches and routers, SQL, thin client, Windows PC and most other applicable hardware applications. I am also well versed in all Windows Operating Systems, All Microsoft Office products, Adobe Master Suite applications, Pinnacle Studios and do much of the multimedia production currently. I also write web design in HTML, XML, CSS and also dabble in Flash as well.
