As a nonprofit management consultant, I use a set of simple, practical tools to help nonprofit leadership teams drive impact for their organizations. The work centers on three areas called Alignment, Execution, and Mindset.• Alignment brings stakeholders into sharp focus around purpose, strategy, and plan.• Execution empowers those stakeholders to act decisively, stay on track, and deliver results.• Mindset ensures that stakeholders can effectively and joyfully work together. In doing this work, we reach the point where the entire organization finds complete Alignment around its strategic direction, uses Execution to consistently drive impact, and operates with the Mindset of a healthy, functional, and well-oiled machine. In the past decade, I have held senior fundraising leadership positions at SpeakEasy Stage Company, Vineyard Theatre, Bostonian Society, and Cristo Rey Boston High School. In addition to my work as a professional fundraiser, I served on the board of Israeli Stage and was founding board chair of Brighter Boston, a startup that prepares Boston Public High School students for careers in technical theater. Prior to my leadership work with nonprofit organizations, I cut my entrepreneurial teeth in the private sector by founding, managing, and selling three companies including a novelty gift company, an ecommerce services company, and an online affiliate marketing network.Early in my career, I spent a decade in New York as an actor. Credits include the South African National Tour of A Chorus Line, the Pre-Broadway Tour of Busker Alley with Tommy Tune, and the Broadway production of Carousel with Audra McDonald. I earned my BFA in Acting from Carnegie Mellon University and a certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from Boston University.Originally from Minneapolis, I now live with my husband in Boston's South End where I prepare the grub, watch reruns of Family Feud, scoop Jack and Darlene's litter box, and do CrossFit.
