We wrote a number of small retail programs, mostly to do with relaxation and stress reduction. We used our web site BuddhasPlace.com as our main avenue for distribution. For value added to some of the products being offered, I wrote the 50-page booklet "Stop Stress - Mind/Body Meets Technology". Designed the products, set up the commerce website, managed apparel inventory and product programming. Skills used: Vendor interface, Design, Retail Marketing, HTML, CSS, Java Script, XML, Miva Merchant, Layout, VB6, Visual Studio, NS-Basic, Photoshop, Flash (as3).; Poolmatch - Rideshare SoftwareDeveloped the specifications and algorithms and created most of the source code. If you have seen a sign along the road asking you to sign up for ride sharing, that agency is probably using our software. Installed in the State of New Jersey, CATS (Chicago; and many smaller cities. New Jersey was the first state to have a state-wide integrated ride share system. Designed the software, helped program it and installed the hardware throughout the state of New Jersey. Required management of nine different and competing state agencies.Financial Reporting System - LSI's original Product - Fund Accounting SoftwareFund accounting system for city governments and not-for-profit organizations. Fund Accounting is multiple sets of chart of accounts (funds) that must be tracked separately and together. In the yearly audit the city auditors never found fault with our software. Oversaw design (in keeping with accounting standards), programming, tested, wrote documentation and gave customer support.
