Developed, architected, and monetized the acquisition of the open source project webpagetest.org. This includes refreshing the UI for the site, building new account management tooling that ties into existing company user systems, releasing a paid version of the product, and tying the product’s functionality into the existing company enterprise product.

Director of the Engineering Organization. We build a consumer website, a payments platform, and internal tools to make it so we can bring a reliable cannabis experience to all of our users. Led the engineering organization through a pivot from a strictly delivery company to a fully vertical company.

Manager of the Front-end and mobile engineers who are responsible for both eaze.com and internal tools used by our partners. I plan and staff projects, build roadmaps, lead hiring, come up with OKRs, set SMART goals for my teammates, pair with members of the team to coach them on technical decisions, and generally grease the wheels so people can get their jobs done.

In charge of technical decision making for the engineering team that builds eaze.com. This included acting as a technical lead for projects, building out execution plans with product managers, and setting achievable goals for my teammates. This role also included setting and documenting best practices.

Managing a distributed team with members in: Greece, UK, and US. This includes planning projects, growing successful teams, and helping the careers of the people on those teams blossom. Helped plan the growth of the company from thirty to sixty people.

Lead Developer for npmjs.com. Contributed to our services layer (mainly, the user-acl and our payments system) and documentation. Built internal support tooling. Sped up build tooling. Also performed DevOps tasks (including pager duty rotation).

Lecturer and curriculum planner for JavaScript 300 (Modern Web Applications)

- Build frontend layouts/templates for clients- Run workshops to teach clients about Responsive Web Design and how to develop for it- Perform performance analysis and breakdowns for clients- Create reusable JavaScript libraries and CSS/HTML modules- Maintain multiple open source libraries (mostly written in Node or Phantom)- Handle Ops-related development, including deployment, CI, and build tools (Using Vagrant, Chef, Jenkins, and internal build-tools to help create sites more soundly)

Wrote JavaScript, fixed some bugs, wrote some documentation.

Led product creation and planning for web applications.

Made HTML5 cross-browser web applications using CSS3, jQuery/Javascript, and jQuery Mobile.Created application controllers using JRuby and Sinatra to leverage legacy Java server-side code.

Focused on the CI/CD pipeline, Team Foundation Server in particular. Worked on some banking software bugs.
