We built a legacy.As a Business Advisor…My thirty-years as a Chief Financial Officer, partner in a chartered accounting firm and advisor to family businesses, gives me an unique crossover skill set in both the financial planning and tax worlds. Each position offered complex challenges and demanded confidentiality. These experiences have set me up to serve our clients well in the role of financial confidant. I listen well, untangle the complexities and help our clients effectively navigate the emotions and intricacies of family business and wealth. I also assist our clients prepare their businesses for eventual hand-off to family successors or outside purchasers.As a Community Leader…I believe strongly in giving-back and community service. I am proud to be the president of SurreyCares, as well as having the experience of co-founder and past chairperson of the award-winning Southridge School. When not in the office or volunteering, with a passion for travel and food, my wife and I plan holidays where we immerse ourselves in the culture and learn to cook the local foods. We also took up ballroom dancing a few years ago… and it’s hard!
