•Managed day to day server operations team responsible for managing a 500+ enterprise server infrastructure including implementations of new architecture initiatives. •Expanded virtualization efforts to wider scope of the environment to meet demands of Sr. management to achieve 75% virtualization. This project was given a 10 month window to complete with limited budget and resources, by creating a strategy and improving consolidation ratios we achieved the goal within 7 months. •Reduce CAPEX\OPEX maintenance costs by expanding virtualization to SQL DB servers, consolidation of over 60 servers into VMware including the retirement of Polyserve. This project saved over 200K annually in OPEX maintenance and had a CAPEX cost avoidance of over $540K. •Further expanded virtualization efforts into broadcast critical apps considered taboo for virtualization, moved over 20 servers including CSS & ScheduAll into a virtual platform increasing uptime and reducing overall costs of infrastructure. •Modernization of broadcast technologies for connectivity to NFL stadiums moved our scoring system off of modem bank technology to a highly encrypted SSL connection to receive critical in-game data. •Designed and implemented enterprise storage platforms to support critical enterprise platforms such as VMware farms and SQL clusters in 3 datacenters. •Managed multiple projects that impacted resources across organizations and managed expectations both back to the business and Sr. management.
