As a team-focused multi-site operations executive and strategic change leader, I am passionate about driving operational excellence with strategic, sustainable change for business growth. Recruited from field operations to Vice President Store and Food Operations at HQ, I was accountable for improving store operating model, enhancing in-store profitability, and developing strategy with merchandising and supply chain to fuel the growth and profitability of a $20B grocery business. Responsible for all in-store processes, food safety and quality control, vendor relationships, and partner businesses (Starbucks/Pizza Hut/Freshi). While leading a team of five HQ based directors focused on strategy and improving day to day operations, I also was able to test, implement, and staff 26 field-based Food and Beverage Directors. I obtained those results by aligning priorities, upgrading talent and expectations, and building a team that was focused on collective goals and long-term success. I also was a key partner to our HQ team in determining our flexible fulfillment staffing and process strategies, enabling our stores to act as hubs for faster delivery of online orders.Known as an innovative leader, I am skilled at developing and inspiring high-performing teams that deliver operational and financial results. Implemented certified train-the-trainer programming and in-person follow up and accountability. • Developed the strategy, location and ROI of a new field expert role across the country to drive sales and enhance profit through industry expertise. Developed a new reporting relationship for these experts, allowing for seamless interaction with merchandising and HQ partners through the Food Operations team, while also enabling strategic oversight of field operations.• Changed alignment of Store Operations at Target by moving Food Operations from a project to its own pyramid. -
