Tasting Station Restaurant Group, LLC is a multi-concept Restaurant in West Des Moines, Iowa which includes BeerStyles Taproom & Gastropub and SALT of the Hearth. As Beverage director Jeff oversees the 100+ beers on tap, the mixology bar and extensive wine list.

Jeff was a partner in the Cedar Rapids office of Simmons Perrine Moyer Bergman PLC, where he practiced from 2007 to 2012. Jeff was engaged in civil litigation, trial, and appellate practice in state and federal courts. Jeff counseled and litigated for clients on matters related to contracts, health care, products liability, intellectual property, personal injury, construction disputes, commercial disputes, fiduciary duty, professional liability and director and officer liability. Jeff’s practice focused on resolving disputes for local, national and international clients, both in and out of court. Jeff successfully tried multiple cases to verdict, practiced in state and federal appellate courts, and represented clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings. Through his judicious management of discovery and successful pretrial negotiations, Jeff shielded companies from adverse verdicts and substantial settlements, either saving or recovering for his clients hundreds of millions of dollars. As an advisor, Jeff worked with his clients to devise business strategies to help minimize litigation risks. Jeff also served as recruiting partner for Simmons Perrine.

Prior to joining Simmons Perrine, Jeff was an associate at the law firm of Wildman, Harrold, Allen & Dixon, one of Chicago's largest law firms. While at Wildman Jeff was similarly involved in civil litigation, with emphasis in the areas of toxic torts, medical malpractice and drug and medical device litigation. A large percentage of Jeff’s time was spent defending class action and mass tort claims for companies such as Honeywell International, Inc., Koppers Inc., Beazer East, Inc., Aristech Chemical Corporation, and Wyeth. During his time at Wildman Jeff also served on the firms Recruiting Committee.
