As one of the co-founders of IT4E, I helped early on to build the business through my sales and marketing efforts. As the business grew I was able to move to the technical side of the business which I preferred. Since changing focus to technical work in 2005, I have had the opportunity to work with a number of enterprises clients both in the private sector as well as the government arena. My technical role includes: architecting and designing solutions, mentoring internal staff of developers, solely completing the deliverables of a projects, teaching classes and mentoring clients through a project.

Through the years that I have worked with ORNL I have had the opportunity to work on numerous projects. Most all the work performed for ORNL has been tied to Microsoft SharePoint. ORNL has the largest implementation of Microsoft SharePoint in our area. The have tens of thousands of sites across several farms. The nature of their business tends to produce a lot process flow and reporting solutions. I have developed a number SharePoint Designer and InfoPath solutions that required little to no managed code. However, I have written more complex workflows for them in Visual Studio as well as created custom activities to be used in SharePoint Designer workflows that are mapped to specific business processes. I have also created SharePoint solutions that included custom event receivers; custom web services with endpoints registered in SharePoint; deployable branding solutions; custom web parts; authentication providers; custom sitemap data providers; and common libraries for trace / logging information, secure store management / access, windows impersonation, base classes for SQL and Oracle data access object, and web.config management / access. Additionally, I have taught classes to developers at ORNL using Microsoft curriculum as well as course materials that I have written.
