With over 200 loyal Members, the Center features 7-10 curated photography exhibits in the MPC Gallery each year, all Free. With over 200 loyal Members, the Center features 7-10 curated photography exhibits in the MPC Gallery each year, all Free. MPC is open 5 days a week, and offers over 20 photography classes for beginners, enthusiasts, and professionals. In 2019 , over 1,000 photographers completed one or more classes at The Center. MPC's staff of Photo Instructors is comprised of professional photographers, credentialed photo educators, or both. MPC offers access to a dozen MacPro work stations, commercial print and negative scanners, and large roll-fed digital printers. MPC has one of the only public-access wet/silver darkrooms in the Twin Cities. The Center has between 2 studio bays (depending on the configurations) for shooting portraits, models, products, still-lifes, or whatever your project requires. MPC hosts monthly seminars and presentations by nationally known photographers and photo industry experts, all open to the Public. Dozens of photography and video businesses, and advertising/marketing agencies, use the MPC facilities to host their clients, and leverage and support their studio photography needs. MPC also offers professional custom framing services, and shares an eclectic library of photography books for your reference and enjoyment while at the Center. MPC services and activities are available to the Public at a daily rate of $35 (see our Website).
