I help individuals and organizations continue on a path of learning, growth, and efficiency. I manage a portfolio of clients and provide consultative expertise to establish successful primary and secondary schools. As a consultant, I contribute my educational expertise to projects such as curriculum development, school accreditation, board governance, and school leader development, and professional development.

I am the co-founder of MERGE Inc., which is a Tampa-based 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. I developed and facilitated programs to provide college tours, care packages, and career planning for motivated students who pursue higher education. Over 200 students have been on a campus visits facilitated by this organization, including those who participated in the 5-day, 10-campus summer road trip. Few are able to successfully plan and attain a postsecondary education independently. To ensure that all students can achieve their dreams and become valuable contributing members of our society I have led a number of programs to aid student efforts. MERGE Inc. created to ensure equity and access for students who wish to attend postsecondary institutions by helping them form an adequate educational plan towards achieving postsecondary placement.

As the School Principal of West University Charter High School, I defined, established, and communicated the school’s mission and vision with aim to develop and maintain positive, effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. I provided feedback and professional growth plans for staff members to manage performance. In addition to leading all initiatives for FTE enrollment goals, I maintained the school's compliance with all district and state accountability measures--both academic and fiscal--and ensure program effectiveness based on data-driven measures.

I assisted the School Principal with the planning, organization, administration, and management of all school operations and activities, including the athletics program, and school-wide policies and procedures, as well as all safety, behavior, attendance, and crisis management needs. My role executed and maintained all staff professional development activities and reporting to ensure teacher certification completion and compliance. I also supervised staff, creating a safe environment, monitoring curriculum, budget development, and other duties associated. I coordinated and supervised the daily operation of the school’s attendance program, security functions, student supervision, detention operations, main office, and the health clinic. I conducted classroom observations classrooms and held conferences with teachers to improve the instructional program.

As a member of the founding staff, I established the BDCHS Athletic program along with the Athletic Director. I taught and trained young men to play Varsity Basketball and successfully managed the basketball team’s scheduling, transportation, and academic compliance. The basketball program I implemented recorded a first-year record of 9-9.

I directed BDCHS IT Department, which included the facilitation of teacher and student trainings for classroom technology. I instituted use of new classroom technology (i.e. Kindle Project, iPad Mobile Lab). My exceptional knowledge of state standard and expectations enabled me to assist in the management of standardized testing and assessments. As the IT Director, I was also responsible for website maintenance and all school digital correspondence (email, web postings, etc).

I established and coordinated curriculum and AVID program in the inaugural and early years of the school's establishment. This extensive college preparatory curriculum and a cooperative learning environment and the Advanced Placement (AP) Psychology curriculum established rigor in the coursework. I ensured proper placement of students in advanced classes and college preparatory tracks of the Student Scheduling team. I also counseled students and parents of diverse backgrounds regarding college admission and financial aid. Additionally, I participated on the Technology Implementation team and Grant Writing Team to secure operational funds for school use and curriculum building.

I reviewed freshman and transfer students’ admission applications. As the Coordinator of Minority Student Recruitment, I counseled prospective students on high school course options for college preparation and planned recruiting events for prospective students.
