FPGA used 6.25 Gb/s signaling to transmit data from fiber optic IO to main processing system. ☛ SFM5100• Lead hardware designer for Serial RapidIO switch module based on interconnected Tundra578 Serial RapidIO switch devices. ☛ VS6-210• Lead hardware designer of a PA SEMI processor based module. Design included PA SEMI 1682M processors, DDR2 Memory, Virtex 5 based PCIe to sRIO bridge, VME Controller and system management circuitry. Product line was canceled when PA SEMI was purchased by Apple. ☛ Tahoe High Compute Density Module• Lead hardware designer responsible for the design and test of a VITA 41 Serial RapidIO High Compute Density (HCD) Module consisting of four PowerPC compute nodes.
