I am a GIS Application Developer with over 10 years of experience in GIS analysis, cartography, data management/administration, and web development.I started with Minnesota IT Services partnering with the DNR Division of Ecological and Water Resources in March 2022 as the GIS Application Developer for the Watershed Health Assessment Framework. I am focusing on rebuilding the application in Angular.I was the GIS Coordinator for the MN Forest Resources Council (MFRC) and the DNR Forestry Private Forest Management (PFM) program from July 2012 to March 2022. My main focus area with the MFRC involved geographic inventory and assessment for MFRC Landscape Plans and various project areas. My main focus area with the DNR Forestry PFM program was in data management/administration and database/application development for the PFM Module (ArcGIS Server/PostgreSQL database for private forest stewardship plans and management projects with user interfaces in VB .NET and Windows Forms for data access and Python/ArcGIS toolbars for business operations and reporting).I have attended over ten MN GIS/LIS Consortium Conferences and presented at the 2016 conference in Duluth. I participate in the GIS User Group, the ArcGIS Server User Group, and the Python User Group at the MN Dept. of Natural Resources. I was on a steering committee for a USFS grant for linking sustainable forestry and water quality in the Upper St. Croix Basin. I have collaborated with multiple state and county agencies working on the State of Minnesota parcel aggregation effort and have contributed development work to the project.I completed a BS in Environmental Studies with a minor in GIS from St. Cloud State University in 2009 and completed a Masters in Geographic Information Sciences with a minor in Computer Science focusing on web development at the University of Minnesota in 2017.
