As a 12 year Real Estate Professional, I have seen many changes in the industry, from good times to bad. We are currently seeing the biggest housing corrections in history. Through my years I have helped buyers and sellers in all these different markets. Each market presents challenges for homeowners and Realtors as well. The best agents are able to make changes in the way they conduct their business.Since the majority of home sales are distressed sales, I have upped my education to include Loan Modifications, Short Sales, and Bank Owned Properties (REO’s). As a foreclosure prevention specialist, I am helping homeowners modify their mortgages and as a Certified Short Sale Negotiator, helping homeowners sell their homes for less than they owe on the property. I have recently co-authored the book, “Should I Short Sale My Home, A Guide to the Worst Real Estate Market in History”.As the co-owner of Revamp LLC with my wife Lisa, we have developed a very successful home staging business. We have helping builders, investors, banks, and relocated homeowners by turning their homes into “Model Homes”, with furniture and accessories from our large inventory. Since we know that staged homes sell faster and for more money than vacant homes we are offering our clients free home staging services.My personal life is consumed with family activities. As a husband and father to three children, we are busy playing golf, doing homework, and heading out to the barn for horseback rides. Also, I am constantly searching for the best recipes for each meal and at times forcing inedible food to my family and friends. I enjoy writing and have recently decided to publicize these works in my blog at www.blogmyhome.typepad.com. I write about many different subjects, but my primary intention is to educate homeowners about real estate.
