Since our successful IPO at August Technology and its subsequent merger with Rudolph Technologies, I have served in a number executive roles for both start-up and emerging growth companies. Most recently I served as Interim CEO of a closely-held healthcare services firm. I provided managerial guidance and mentorship to the owners including process re-engineering; researching, selecting and implementing an enterprise software platform to automate comprehensive clinical management, advanced scheduling, staff communication, and back-office functions. My previous engagements include: • Providing experienced business guidance and securing funding for a highly unique and field- proven (globally) advanced multi-gas measurement technology company.• Serve as a Corporate Director of a global, socially-responsible sports apparel manufacturer and its corporate foundation. The foundation provides character building, sports facilities, and educational tools and support.• Serve as Corporate Director to a web-based start-up providing home and property owners an easy way to keep track of details relating to appliances, remodeling projects, maintenance records, and trusted service professionals. • Serve as Corporate Director of a web-based secure, online vault to organize and preserve non- financial legacy documents for your children and family members including vital documents, letters, stories, memories and irreplaceable photos and videos.• Serve as a Corporate Director of a technology start-up company focused on grid-scale electrical storage systems, helping to make electricity available when it's needed.

Founded August Technology Corporation in 1992 (a semiconductor capital equipment company focused in the area of automated visual inspection for increasing yields in the semiconductor manufacturing process). August Technology went public in 2000 and particpated in a strategic merger with Rudolph Technologies in 2006 (Rudolph is a semiconductor capital equipment company focused in the area of automated metrology for increasing yields in the semiconductor manufacturing process). I was a co-founder of NASDAQ-traded August Technology, we developed, manufactured, and sold optical inspection systems enabling semiconductor device manufacturers to improve yields (i.e., lower cost of manufacturing by collecting and delivering information specific to process-generated defects). During my tenure as CEO and Chairman of the Board, I built the team and technology that resulted in a successful $200M IPO in 2000. August Technology grew to 300+ employees worldwide, with offices throughout Europe and Asia/Japan and formed key customer partnerships with several Global 500 companies. In February 2006, the company participated in a strategic merger with NYSE-traded Rudolph Technologies (RTEC).
