After more than two decades serving as a university advancement and foundation executive at several of Canada's leading healthcare and higher education institutions, I am pleased to share that I have started a new venture and launched Birchview Consulting earlier this year. I am also excited to join Global Philanthropic Canada as an independent Senior Consultant. The power of philanthropy has always moved and inspired me. It has been my privilege to work with thousands of generous donors, volunteers, and staff colleagues to make a lasting and positive impact on the community and raise over $1 billion to address some of the world's most important societal issues. In this new role, I am working with executive leaders and boards in the non-profit sector to provide strategic advice, counsel, and active fundraising support that enables organizations to expand capacity, increase fundraising results, and build sustainable campaigns, programs, and teams. I'm incredibly grateful to have worked alongside many amazing colleagues at impact-driven organizations. I have been fortunate to collaborate with and learn from these committed and dedicated staff team members, volunteers, and the many generous donors to these important institutions.
