•Provide management over a portfolio of clients and deliver high quality audit and assurance services - Ensuring that all audits are planned, controlled, reviewed and completed to the firm’s standards, to the satisfaction of the client and within budget.• Selecting appropriate procedures to obtain evidence of the significant financial statement assertions.•Monitor output - including set billing and income/cost factors targets, billing and collection targets.•Handle client meetings along with the partner and on certain pre-selected assignments and directly represent the assignment partner.•Identify audit issues and develop recommendations for areas of improvement, write reports documenting findings, and follow up on recommendations to ensure suggestions are implemented.•General business development including selling of the firm’s various offerings to potential clients.•Selection and booking of staff on various assignments, preparation of budgets, allocation of tasks and responsibilities, scheduling of meetings and setting the key milestones to ensure that efficiency and effectiveness are achieved.•Assessment of internal control environments and preparation of management reports on performance improvement areas in the business processes of the organization.•Risk assessment of the client’s business which involves understanding the client, it’s operating environment and identifying risks specific to the business including compliance with regulations.•Determining, with the client relationship executive, that the important roles have been identified and filled by team members with the competencies to meet the firm’s quality standards and the client’s expectations.•Providing direction to other team members on tailoring the materials from the firm’s knowledge centers and knowledge databases into engagement/client deliverables.•Ensuring the team has an effective process established to share knowledge within the team.
