I have over 20 years of award-winning experience in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry in the areas of Thought Leader Engagement / Development, Leadership, and Sales. I hold a Master’s degree in Sports Medicine and have worked with various professional, international, and college sports teams in my previous career as an Athletic Trainer.Before coming to Amgen, I had the opportunity to work at Takeda, where I served as Thought Leader Liaison, interacting with Key Opinion Leaders in the area of Rare GI disorders in the South-Central part of the United States and Puerto Rico. I have the ability to speak multiple languages fluently (English, Spanish, and an understanding of Portuguese), which has allowed me to work on various projects in and outside of the US, including the development of emerging markets, primarily focusing on the countries of Brazil, Colombia, Spain, and Taiwan. Today, in my current role as a Senior Manager, Regional Marketing: I work in the area of Inflammatory Rare Disease, focusing on Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement, along with assisting our marketing department in product launch scenarios, while also helping to garner advocacy and insights synthesis from our key opinion leaders at academic institutions and large community-based practices. In order to help our internal partners create strategic imperatives for its specific brand, while also managing and facilitating Amgen's Advisory Boards and Speaker’s Bureau in the Southeastern portion of the US.
