A Chartered Professional Fire Engineer and Director of Crossfire, Fire Engineering Consultants, Auckland with 20+ years experience working in the fire sector. Previously a fire engineer with FENZ (2009-2012) and since 2013 a consulting fire engineer with Crossfire, based in Auckland. I have successfully managed fire engineering teams, produced, and undertook construction monitoring of, compliant fire safety designs on a wide variety of large projects in commercial and retail developments, public and educational buildings, health and sporting facilities and industrial installations for a number of high profile clients. Previously an operational Firefighter, Crew/Watch Manager and Instructor for 13 yrs in the UK with training qualifications in Compartment Fire Behaviour since 1996.
