Responsible for all phases of the Product Management Lifecycle from concept and development to launch, revenue, and ongoing strategic management of self sustaining service used by libraries in over 35 countries.▪ P&L responsibilities for new service with an annual budget and associated global revenues of $2.5-$3 million.▪ Managed cross-functional matrixed team of approximately 30 individuals to deliver web-based service enabling libraries to manage interactions with their users, meet users at their point of need on the Internet, and work cooperatively.▪ Managed partner relationships in the U.S. and internationally with The Library of Congress, Google, Ask Jeeves, and Yahoo and other like organizations; as well as research partners including Syracuse and the University of Washington.▪ Led geographically distributed team through the 2-year merger, migration, and launch of the next generation, “best of breed” platform resulting from the merger and integration of the 24/7 Reference service and membership.
