My career in the architectural & IT professions began after graduating from UW-Milwaukee (MArch) in 1994,with a focus on technology in the architectural practice. I joined Plunkett Raysich Architects, LLP in 1998 as a CADD Manager and member of the Information Technology team. As the firm expanded geographically, my responsibilities expanded to include a range of Information Technology skill-sets including network administration, system administration, AEC software support, project delivery production standards, and cloud project collaboration platforms. Over the years my skills have evolved to include deployment, configuration, and management of a variety of cloud technologies used the AEC industry.Since 2005 I have been involved in several major technology transitions within the firm including migrating project delivery to Building Information Modeling, project execution with Newforma Project Center, as well as the consolidation of business function datastores via Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint. Recently, the firm has seen widespread adoption of cloud technologies enabling the firm to expand our services nationally and for our staff to work remotely.

Independent consultant providing Cisco Network consultation and security services. Primary responsibilities included network topology design for IP networks as well as security audit and firewall programming. Implemented ethernet network switching using Cisco Catalyst Switches, IP routing with Cisco 2620 routers, and Cisco PIX 500 Series firewall and site-to-site IPSec VPN.
