About Jeff Peterson
I'm currently working on Waha - a Discovery Bible Study app that equips tens of thousands of believers everywhere to obey Jesus' command to make disciples. Here are five things about me:1) I spent 7 years living in North Africa working with the underground Church. We used marketing funnels and online ads to find people who wanted to read the Bible. There was such a demand for Bibles we had to start smuggling them into the country.2) During that time, we discovered most people don't understand what it means to make or multiply disciples. They think it's a program, event, or something those in professional ministry do. So we made Waha.3) I'm passionate about bridging the tech and faith worlds. I want to connect skilled, Christian tech professionals with projects that have lasting Kingdom impact. 4) I started my first digital marketing agency while living out of hotels in Colombus, Ohio. I was working as a management consultant during the day and the constant travel was killing me. So I taught myself digital marketing using YouTube and a few paid courses.5) I'm a firm believer that you can learn anything on the internet, from professional skills to picking up new hobbies. I built my own meat smoker after watching a few YouTube videos—and I'm not a very handy person!
