Previously known as the Honda Indy Toronto, the Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto is a world-class motorsports festival which takes place annually on a 2.874-kilometre (1.786-mile), 11-turn temporary circuit using the streets surrounding Exhibition Place near Lake Ontario in downtown Toronto. The event features many attractions, food trucks, interactive displays and activities, and supports local charities. Your Ontario Honda Dealers Present Honda Fan Friday offers general admission courtesy of the Ontario Honda Dealers Association through a voluntary donation. Since 2010, event fundraising has raised over $1 million for charity. As one of Ontario's largest annual sporting events with the first race held in 1986 first known as the Molson Indy, it has become a prestigious meeting place for some of the world’s fastest race car drivers including past NTT INDYCAR SERIES champions like Scott Dixon, Josef Newgarden and Will Power as well as Canadian racing greats Scott Goodyear, James Hinchcliffe, Greg Moore, Alex Tagliani, Paul Tracy, Jacques Villeneuve, Robert Wickens and more. Green Savoree Racing Promotions (GSRP) is an Indianapolis-based motorsports event ownership and management company that owns, operates and promotes race properties in Lexington, Ohio, home of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and The Mid-Ohio School, Portland, Ore., St. Petersburg, Fla., Toronto, Ontario.GSRP events provide a festival experience and showcase some of the most exciting racing series in the world including the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, USF Pro Championships open-wheel development series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, ARCA Menards Series, Formula E and more. In working together since 1993, co-owners Kim Green and Kevin Savoree have won four INDYCAR championships, three Indianapolis 500 races and the 12 Hours of Sebring as team principals, and established the first INDYCAR street race in 2004.

The Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame (CMHF) exists to honour and recognize the efforts, achievements and contributions that Canadians have made in the realm of Canadian Motorsports. The CMHF was officially opened in 1993 and began inducting honourable members in that year. Including the Class of 2023 inductees, the Hall of Fame will have inducted 290 individuals and organizations, who have been recognized for their accomplishments and contributions to Canadian motorsports. These men, women and organizations have earned the privilege to be a part of the Hall. Categories for induction include Competitors, Motorsport Builders, Race Support Participants and the Media. The CMHF hosts an annual induction ceremony that has become a popular and important event to the Canadian motorsport industry. The Canadian Motorsport Heritage Foundation operates as a not-for-profit charitable institution.
