Who is Jeffrey Abels? I have more than fifty years experience in testing imported foods for safety and quality. In addition to myself, my team at FTS Laboratories are internationally recognized as experts in the inspection, laboratory analysis and grading of dried fruits, tree nuts, peanuts, spices, edible seed, pulses, fruit concentrates, green coffee and cocoa. Having solved very many problems with imported foods for so many years, it is likely that I and my team have the solution for you. In addition to many years of field experience in North America, Asia, Middle East and Brazil, I have a strong academic background with graduate studies in food science and entomology (Rutgers Univ., and Univ. of Florida). One of my areas of expertise is in the investigation of stored product insect infestations, insect identification and microanalytical entomology (light filth).FTS Laboratories (FTS Labs), The Foreign Trade Service Corporation.
