We are developing automated robotic mounting systems for medical beds and recliners (RoboTable) as well as power wheelchair users (RoboDesk) to independently access and charge their mobile devices. I invented the Eco Face Shield, a fully-recyclable face shield design made from one piece of plastic. It's a super-comfortable face shield with a universal adult fit and a double-sided anti-fog coating that can be reused and fully recycled. With the Eco Face Shield, you get full-face protection with less waste. I sold about a thousand units of the Eco Face.

I investigated the safety of existing vehicle wheelchair lifts currently in operation using a human-oriented design method which incorporated end user interviews, operator site visits, and lab testing. Working in a team with two graduate students and two professors, I brainstormed new safety concepts based on our key findings. I designed multiple novel.

I established REDD Science LLC to commercialize the Rhotek handle suspension system. The company has been inactive since early 2013, but I continued to develop the concept in my PhD dissertation research.
