I am a Partner in the litigation department of the Atlanta office of BakerHostetler, and focus my practice on complex business/commercial disputes and consumer class actions. My experience includes managing and collaborating on every aspect of the litigation process, from inception through completion, including coordinating discovery, motions practice, preparing witnesses, taking and defending depositions, expert discovery, mediation, settlement negotiation, trial and appeal. I have successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants, and participated in trial teams in FINRA and AAA arbitrations and in trials in federal and Georgia state courts. In addition, I have appellate experience in Georgia state and federal courts, including having argued before the Court of Appeals for the State of Georgia. Prior to practicing law, from 1993 to 2004, I worked for Delta Air Lines, Inc. in various engineering positions and as a manager in its Aircraft Acquisition & Sales Group. My work experience includes negotiating contractual agreements and resolving disputes related to the purchase, sale, lease, or mortgage of commercial aircraft. My experience also includes serving as engineering liaison with the aircraft manufacturer for new delivery aircraft and managing the purchase contract. My background also includes interpreting and applying FAA regulations and directives related to commercial aircraft.
