Provides IT support for all automated business applications and hardware for a 20+ member civilian training and support team and military liaisons. Serves as liaison and customer service office for more than 6,000 users spread across 54 states and territories. Subject matter expertise in more than 25 different software and web-based computer applications used daily by the Army National Guard Recruiting Command at every level. Continuously monitors both physical and web security for all hardware, systems, networks, and applications to ensure all government security requirements are met and followed at all times. Design, develop, and continuously manage and maintain applications, programs, databases, queries, reports, briefings and user guides as needed to support the ARNG-HRR-S Accessions Systems Branch and the Army National Guard. Supports 120 IT Professionals in all 54 states and territories for their Recruiting Commands. Designated as the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution security manager for the National Guard Recruiting Force. Responsible for Compliance and Incident response for vulnerabilities discovered on the user’s computer. Oversees all Early User Testing (EUT) for new and upcoming applications and systems and lead representative for all new computer image releases. Tests hardware, software, networks, and web-based applications and report on findings to liaisons and developers. Serves as a primary instructor for the Automation NCO course which is a Computing Environment equivalent type training. The sole Point of Contact for issuing and maintaining administrator accounts for the Department of Defense network for the National Guard Recruiting Force for the 54 states and territories. Currently holds a Top Secret (SSBI) security clearance.

Responsible for fielding and installing new hardware and software for the Recruiting and Retention Force (RRF) for the North Carolina Army National Guard (NCARNG). Maintains Virtual Private Network (VPN) using tunneling technology for secure transmission of sensitive data through standard phone lines, Wireless Internet, and Local Area Connections. Functions as an Early User Tester (EUT) on many program platforms for all software before it is deployed nationwide to up to 25,000 computer systems. Coordinates the acquisition, service and property accountability for automation equipment and warranty /non warranty support to include the return of defective / broken automation items. Monitors user compliance with applicable regulatory guidance, directives and policies. Prepares technical studies and evaluation reports and maintain records pertaining to this functional area. Serves as the primary trainer for the State of North Carolina Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Battalion (NCARNG RRB). Provides daily software / hardware support for 120 users of the NCARNG RRB
