About Jeffrey Burns

As a Senior Managing Director at Walker & Dunlop, I am responsible for new multifamily loan origination in California and the western United States, in addition to leading one of the top producing origination teams in the company. We specialize in multifamily financing for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and other capital sources. Throughout my career I have funded over $22 billion in commercial real estate transactions.I joined Walker & Dunlop in February 2009 in conjunction with the firm's acquisition of certain assets of Column Guaranteed and had previously been with Column Guaranteed since October 2005. Prior to Walker & Dunlop, I worked for Deutsche Bank Berkshire Mortgage, Bank of the West, and Citibank.In addition to my career in Multifamily Finance, I have served as Chairman for the California Mortgage Bankers Association, served on the Freddie Mac Advisory Council, and currently am a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Bay Area Mortgage Association.
