I currently work for Other Press, in NYC, the premier publisher of literary fiction and nonfiction, mostly in translation. Before that, I was Vice President Sales with a demonstrated history of working within my publishing house and with retailers and wholesalers that sell our books. My reputation in-house was to support editors in bringing their authors’ books to the widest possible audience. To that end, I would facilitate marketing plans in coordination with marketing, publicity and my own sales department. I am an excellent communicator skilled in Writing, Editing, Marketing, Publishing, and Social Media Marketing. Since I started my career as a bookseller, I am particularly sensitive to bookstores and understanding and communicating the best practices to maximize POS. I am equally comfortable as a team leader or team member. I am a skilled multi taster with strong organizational skills. My goal has always been finding and implementing practices that all members can embrace and be successful.
