As assistant manager, I have three main responsibilities: I am in charge of truck orders every week, ensuring that my store has adequate food and supplies, I am in charge of P.O.P., making sure that we always have the correct marketing in place throughout the store, and I am in charge of TMTP (Team Member Training Program). I also help my general manager by running shifts when he is not around and by helping to enforce any policy changes he feels are necessary for our store.

I was responsible for morning maintenance. When I entered I would pick up trash in the parking lot, scrub the sidewalk in front of and behind the store, scrub the drive-thru area, and clean the bathrooms. I worked as a cashier, both for front counter and for drive-thru, and was responsible for maintaining the areas well stocked. I was also responsible for maintaining a clean and presentable lobby for our guests. When food orders came in, I was responsible for stocking the walk-in freezer and cooler according to FIFO methods. I also learned how to work the fryer.

I served 500+ plates of food/night. I also helped maintain a clean cafeteria and kitchen area.
