• Lead projects through the entitlement process for architectural review committees and planning boards. Prepare presentations and provide professional testimony.• Responsible for due diligence research, site selection analysis, facility evaluation, code and ADA compliance studies.• Direct and coordinate civil, MEP, structural, noise and traffic engineers as well as land use attorneys and construction teams for large ground-up and take over retail projects. Project sizes range from 35K SF expansions of existing stores to 195K SF new stores.• Manage the production of contract documents and adapt prototypical layouts and details for expansion and takeover projects including multi level stores.• Development of schematic design, design development, construction documents and specifications.• Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance to contract documents.• Prepare responses to bid questions, RFIs and change orders.• Conduct monthly site visits to verify work complies with the contract documents, review the contractor’s payment requisition, review change orders, and prepare a construction monitoring reports to support client’s Design Managers & Construction Managers.
