Being the chief engineer of a highly rated college is a lot of pressure but keeps me focused on the campus running to its highest capability whether it is HVAC, Electrical or Plumbing. When I leave the office for the day knowing the campus is running the way it should is a sense of relief and a major accomplishment. I couldn’t do it without the amazing team that I work side by side with day in and day out. The team has made it easy to keep the University running smooth by trusting my years of experience. With that being said knowing they have that trust in me makes me push harder, makes me enjoy coming to work everyday knowing my work family has my back! As a senior supervisor at Greystar, I managed the service of a 1,020 apartment complex on 26 acres, overseeing two supervisors and 11 technicians. I ensured that the projects were completed on time and with quality, while minimizing the interference with turn over and move-ins. I also communicated with residents on any service issues and complaints, and inspected the property regularly to verify the performance of the onsite vendors and my team. I hold an EPA universal license, an OSHA-10 certification, and a CPO certification, demonstrating my compliance with safety and environmental standards.Before joining Greystar, I was a regional maintenance manager at JRK Property Holdings, where I handled all contractors for three apartment complexes with 725 units and six maintenance techs. I have been in the construction field since the age of 14, working alongside my uncle on summer break. I have developed a wide range of skills and knowledge in residential and commercial buildings, facility management, and contracting. I enjoy helping others learn and passing along the experience and wisdom that my uncles and father taught me. I graduated from Alvirne High School in 1999, and I am always eager to learn new things and take on new challenges.
